Yay, it's 2006. Happy New Year everybody! May your hearts' deepest wishes find fulfillment this year.

I had a quiet one with my girl, who finally came back over to my place after, like,
3 months. What is it with me and gfs who won't visit? But that sounds like a gripe. I don't feel gripey. The quiet one was the right decision. Despite the Margii crowd getting all sweetly, pushily, disappointed at me not being there. (The cynic in me says at least PART of that was they wanted the kiirtan - and the Jyosna sam gacchadvam that I seem to have a monopoly on - but I know there was heart in it too. I love spending time with them - just not this time).

Got a bunch of text messages at midnight, but was particularly tickled by getting one from mrswho. Go the new phone!!

It is damn hot here, and I am going to take myself off to movie air conditioning.
And I'll be nice to the staff, Lal, I promise:)
